The Site View page provides a high-level summary of a single plant. It provides information about how the plant is operating and potential problems with the plant.
Production & Loss
The Production & Loss view shows actual, achievable, and recoverable production over the selected time range.
- Metered Production: The total production is measured at the plant’s energy meter if one is configured for a site.
- Gap due to data quality and/or AC loss: This is the gap between the Metered Production and the Analyzed Inverter Production. The difference can be due to actual AC wiring losses between the meter and inverter (when the Inverter Production is higher than the Metered Production) or due to data gaps or other data quality issues (when the Inverter Production is lower than the Metered Production).
- Analyzed Inverter Production: The production is measured at the inverter output after filtering periods of poor data quality. Depending on the quality of the data flows, this value may be more or less than the metered production. Theoretically, this value shall be more significant than metered production due to downstream AC wiring losses. Still, in practice, often shows up less than metered production due to varying degrees of data quality problems in the time series data.
- Achievable Production: The sum of analyzed production and recoverable production.
- Design Max: The maximum production to expect from the system if all corrective actions are taken, regardless of whether they are cost-effectively recoverable.
- Recoverable Production via Corrective Actions: The production that can be added to the actual production by taking all cost-effective corrective actions.
- Not Economically Recoverable Production: The production that can be added by taking all corrective actions that are not necessarily cost-effective.
Loss Summary
The Loss Summary graph shows the contribution of different loss categories to the total loss over the selected time range. The graph displays values in kWh, %, or currency, depending on the units chosen.
For each loss category, the graph shows a bar for the actual loss value, the expected loss based on a model of the plant, and the recoverable production. Hover over a bar to see the values represented by each bar.
Daily Losses over time
This time chart provides a visual representation of energy losses for various categories within a plant over a given time frame. This tool enables asset operators and managers to identify trends, pinpoint specific loss events, and make data-driven decisions to optimize energy production.
At the top-right side, three different point sets are available, including:
- Overall KPIs
- Recoverable Losses kWh
- Losses kWh
