The Down Strings page identifies strings in the plant that are inoperative over the selected time range. The energy loss due to the inoperative strings is also estimated and quantified, considering inverter downtime and curtailment states.
For example, if a significant number of strings are down on an inverter, but the inverter is suffering downtime due to grid curtailment, the additional energy loss due to the down strings remains zero since fixing the strings would not produce more energy at the inverter AC output.
DC Health - Down String - Summary
The summary KPIs give a quick overview of the actual, revenue and recoverable losses due to down strings. In addition, the total number of down DC inputs is displayed.
