List of Functionality Gaps / To-dos (in 2026)

Service originally intended to be a temporary solution, there's now scope for it to potentially be used by multiple customers (other than Total)

As such, we'll need to implement improvements etc in early 2026.

Logging

•  Align with other Bazefield services to enhance the logging and make it viewable in real time in Baretail Pro for example.

File Scanning

• Currently, if a file gets left behind in the output folder, for whatever reason, it'll only get picked up again by the service either:
  • On service restart
  • When the next file lands in the output directory.

Proposed Resolution

• Incorporate a period timer to scan the file directory on shorter intervals
• Notes:
  • Intervals should be configurable

Bazefield Package

• Service should be packaged into an official bazefield package
• Enables watchdog to recover it etc etc

Secret Management

• Explore opportunities to better handle secet stroage/retrieval
